F1 Viewing Party/Oppo Meetup - Northeast

Since I have exactly one person around here in Maine that will watch F1 with me, I would like to invite anyone interested "Upta Camp" to kick off the 2015 season, on the weekend of March 15th. Friday through Sunday. We will be in the hamlet of New Harbor, Maine - about an hour north of Portland at my new family digs. Plenty of parking, there will be plenty of beer drinking going on. I wanted to get the word out there soon for everyone to plan ahead, but things should be thawing out, and it would be a great way to get a bunch of us together. Bring a sleeping bag and whatever you want to drink - if there is enough interest we can get a keg. Come near, come far, come whenever, bring your girl if you like. Don't say you weren't warned

Gonna give it a miss man, it's a terrible place to get to.

I gotta drive an hour to get Heathrow, have a 7 hr 25 min flight to Boston, the a 10.5 hr layover in Boston before jumping in a Cessna for an hour to Knox County then an hour drive to New Harbor.

I hope you understand.

I am from BC and went home over the holidays only to find myself connecting with a girl there. Life is so random. On a scale of 1 to 10 of expected it was very unexpected.

Before she came along I was trying to move to western canada, so now she has added to the motivation.

ah thats right. I love BC, havent been there in 15 years but I remember it fondly. Now that I have a DWI on my record (from 13 years ago) I am not sure they would have me back. Have to get creative with it I guess.

If you want to come to Canada, I think your chances are good if this is your only crime. Since you are fairly young, I might suggest filling it out even if you have no immediate plans.

You can find out for sure by filling a form and sending to your local visa office. Once you are deemed permanently rehabilitated, you can cross anytime.
